One reason I think this has chance higher than ever (and the other bills), is the pure ideological zealous will and increasing desperation to do it. They know each bill grants them control over information more than ever, and this regime is still trying to consolidate, needs things like this.

This is the rub right here, any of the flaws or concerns around the modern US internet are not addressed by an S230 repeal. Just hurts you while Big Tech can weather the blow and change for a post-S230 environment
there are many reasons to reform s230 but none of these are it.
