Reminds me of the time I was asked to move my classroom library into the supply closet and have them fill out permission slips if they wanted to borrow a book.

I’m starting over with social media, so here’s a quick intro post. I’m Megan, and I’ve been writing books for about ten years. Four are published (yay!) and another, an Appalachian Gothic for adults called HYMN FOR THE FORSAKEN, is to be released in the fall of 2026.

I’m starting over with social media, so here’s a quick intro post. I’m Megan, and I’ve been writing books for about ten years. Four are published (yay!) and another, an Appalachian Gothic for adults called HYMN FOR THE FORSAKEN, is to be released in the fall of 2026.
Reminder that if you have a kid in your life, helping them develop character through stories is important and fun. Books don’t have to be “about” activism to have this kind of power. Gimme a good spread like this one in CIRCUS SHIP by Chris Van Dusen and we’re all changed by the time the book ends.
