Why are Buy Nothing people the biggest flakes? Lady canceled on me yesterday. I just brought the lamp inside because she never came today and it rained. “She got a flat tire” so now she’s coming tonight. I’m doubtful, plus this wet lamp is going to short circuit on her when she turns it on anyway.

I’m leaning big into festive holiday beverages this year. Give me all the gingerbread lattes, the peppermint mochas, the hot spiced ciders, the mulled wines, the eggnogs, the cranberry martinis, the apple cinnamon teas, and winter beers.

Does anyone use Empower instead of Uber or Lyft? I’ve been trying to use them because the drivers keep more of their earnings, but it also seems like they’re bottom tier. The other day I got a driver who REEKED of BO and talked at me about Teslas, lithium batteries and hyper cars for the whole ride.

We’ve lived 18 yrs in our home w/ original 70s kitchen and bathrooms. Since our 2nd BR ceiling collapsed, we decided to finally remodel our upstairs bath too. That was a long preamble to announce that I’m getting a Toto washlet! Everything else will be mid, so the fancy toilet is our one big upgrade

There’s a goddamn busybody in my yoga class who commandeered the substitute instructor to make everyone rearrange their mat to face the direction that the Saturday instructor (who I don’t like at all) insists upon. Like stfu Susan just rest or stretch quietly like everyone else does before class.

Anyone else use their Capital One account to autopay recurring bills? Because whatever changes they made to that system are shady af. The money comes out of my account when the check is cut, it takes FOREVER to arrive, and then I seem to have no way of determining if the check was actually cashed.

I like to get myself fancy coffee drinks as treats on roadtrips but because that’s the only time I drink them, I’m really bad at ordering. I get so overwhelmed when it’s not my usual regular drip coffee with a little 2% milk and end up with these gross creations.

My sister stopped by our house to check on the cats while we’re gone and discovered the entire ceiling in our guest bedroom/my office had collapsed. So, as you might guess, our vacation is going spectacularly.

I have rediscovered Grape Nuts for breakfast. They have vitamins and minerals, fiber, and a bit of protein and they keep me full all morning. I like them hot with berries mixed in, a splat of Greek yogurt, and maple syrup on top. Everything old is new again.

Why do they pretend that money means anything when DOGE cost us millions and found nothing, millions were spent on a birthday parade no one attended, and now we’re spending probably billions a day on a war nobody wanted.
