Now I work more with other genders who can also see the foundational wounds that affect them today. THAT, we can work with that!

Not all the other relational skills the modality is currently used for. Sex was “possibly if in fact therapeutically needed”. They often didn’t want to hear that and just kept asking for the sex. It was exhausting and I quit.

I quit being a traditional surrogate partner because my clients were mainly cis men, IN therapy, and still thought the solution to their intimacy struggles (all forms of intimacy) was going to be solved by the sex in that modality.
