“All I want is to live in peace, plant potatoes and dream”. Sadly, however, bills need paid so I’m an arts marketer, amateur singer, slow-but-trying runner & keen cook.
Same! I turn 50 next year and had a corresponding physical health crisis last summer. I do feel better for it and I even sort of enjoy it. It’s satisfying when you see yourself improve.

It is not the worst turn of events. Just bewildering!

This was me a year and a bit ago. Still going, still baffled at this turn of events.

I always have a frisson of panic when we do Beethoven Eroica in work. Extra vigilant proofing required.

Could you contain yourself? I do not think you could!

Exactly that! See also: reacting with with horror to a sewing challenge when there’s ALWAYS a sewing challenge and just do yourself a favour and get some lessons before going on the show. The extent and level of blyth, oblivious cluelessness is always hilariously baffling to me.

Snatch Game is fascinating to me. Every year, the queens are all so excited to get to Snatch Game week, and yet the number of absolute disasters heavily outweighs the successes. Why are they all so excited and yet so cursed? I’m delighted that tonight is car crash night!

Happy tinkering with it!

Will be intrigued to hear how you fare with it - I have a tablet and periodically consider doing this as I get such shoulder pain when scores are chunkier, but I have wondered about whether it would just be differently painful!

I misread this as Shaky and was instantly earwormed with This Ole House.

(Also carrying a John Shuttleworth tote if trying to read women’s t shirts isn’t your thing)

Roscoe looks like a sibling of Dexter, the cat three doors down from us, who regularly calls by for a bit of attention and to hang out. Delightful.
