Seattle No Kings - had no paper for my own sign but enjoyed the puns, honesty, bitterness, hate, and hope in everyone else's

Was happy to realize that my first trip to Seattle coincided with this march
Huge crowd in Seattle's Cal Anderson Park for the #NoKings rally. People standing from the Black Lives Matter street mural on Pine all the way to Denny. Bands, banners, and speeches from Congresswoman Jayapal, MLK Labor, and others.

I cooked strawberries down for crepes the other day and my son was raving about "the compote". I don't know where he got that from, but it's how I know he's a good kid, and yes, I'm an obnoxious mom for thinking that

This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.

Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

A sad day for America—Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia University activist, has been arrested by ICE, not for any crime, but for his political activism. The Trump administration claims he was involved in “pro-terrorist” activities, yet no formal charges have been filed.

Don’t lose hope. Remember, Watergate took over two years to fully unravel from the initial break-in to Nixon’s resignation. Just like then and now, Americans are losing faith in their government. We are documenting every illegal action and will hold this administration and Elon Musk accountable.

This little guy got an ultrasound for which they shaved his belly and I'm not ashamed that I've been ruffling his belly as emotional support peach fuzz

Last night I stepped out of the hot tub in the dark and straight into the deep end of the pool (as a nonswimmer). While I was trying to get high enough to reach the edge of the pool, I squeaked out that I needed help.

I'm one allergy breakout away from going to a party just to have a new audience that hasn't heard me rant about sodium benzoate yet

Yes, Netflix cheesy romance, but the playlist from One Day is what I wish I was listening to in the 90s. (and even more fun, it progresses from 1988 through the early aughts, so you get a chunk of your memories at once)

I have no idea what my bluesona is going to be. I'm trying to break out of my last 5 years of Twitter - that is, sarcastically only hate replying to others and being too tired to post anything on my own
