The hyper fixation on safe races is bad, actually. If we apply the Mamdani grading scale to other candidates, we must accept that young people want CIA agents, competent centrists, and people who constantly distance themselves from socialism.

While the GA elections weren't very dramatic, they are the biggest story tonight imo. +25 in statewide races is seismic for congressional Republicans. Conceding the shutdown before the election would have been a terrible mistake.

Dems have swept all five row offices in the crucial swing county of Bucks County, PA, by about a 56-44 margin, including my longtime friends Joe Khan and Danny Ceisler being elected District Attorney and Sheriff, respectively. We swept all four open common pleas judgeships. This is a great night.
