This floor is the most noticeably-changed texture shown from SMG1+2 so far, and wow it looks like a cheap fanmade "HD" emulator texture pack...

TotK's soundtrack is now on Nintendo Music. It seems to be identical to the Japanese CD release (minus the bonus USB with very high quality and surround sound versions of certain tracks).
Which I would've considered a given, but Splatoon from last week was different from Splatune, so, shrug.

But static recompilation was kind of a last resort option. And indeed, their emulator does supposedly have an unused JIT option, as shown by one of its config files. So this emulator can do "regular" emulation as well.

But SMS is... special. They statically recompiled the whole game (you might've heard of this technique recently :p). They did this for performance reasons, as implied on a blogpost made by NERD.
