Copilot on the taskbar is one of Microsoft's new Windows 11 features it announced today. It replaces the search box and gives you a launcher-like prompt window and access to Copilot Vision / Voice

I don't know where this started but I've heard a lot of people parrot some false claim that the Switch versions of Super Mario Galaxy are based on the Shield version.
They are totally unrelated versions with nearly zero similarities, created independently by two different teams.

Mario Galaxy 1+2's HUD is... smaller. In like, an offputting sort of way that's hard to describe. Like, the proportions are wrong, or something.

After 100%ing DK Bananza I've given it some time to simmer, thinking I might become jaded with the game like I did with Mario Odyssey... but, no. DK shows that EPD Tokyo has still got it. Odyssey was just a fluke. I hope Tears of the Kingdom was a fluke, too.

Patapon 1+2 (underneath the Unity wrapper) seems to just be a PSP emulator. And it does the typical emulated re-release thing of replacing textures and whatnot at runtime.
All expected, since that's what the PS4 versions were.

Unlike MK, DKB actually deserved the Direct, lol. Made me go from "i dunno" to "yeah i'll buy it".
Cautiously optimistic, though (I don't wanna get hyped by the trailers and then hate the game a la TotK, and it's clearly the Odyssey team which isn't my favourite game...)

TotK's soundtrack is now on Nintendo Music. It seems to be identical to the Japanese CD release (minus the bonus USB with very high quality and surround sound versions of certain tracks).
Which I would've considered a given, but Splatoon from last week was different from Splatune, so, shrug.

I'm honestly really glad GameChat on Switch 2 is, uh, "bad". Like, yeah, the screensharing is 2 fps, but I'd rather that than the feature hogging resources from the game.
