They sent us there on a day trip but I'd have loved an overnight...we guessed right about Apulia, we spent most of the week in Polignano A Mare. Which was perfect as we both love sea swimming.

The aging-up in this movie is pretty impressive for 1941. I had to do the sums a couple of times to convince myself Orson Welles was really in his 20s when it was made. Even though he is literally in his 20s in some scenes.
