Changing the character of the North End... by demolishing and old recycling plant and an Asbestos ridden warehouse to replace with housing.

How dare they?

Summer Street, Halifax.
Due to tree work Pedestrians diverted in Gardens (sidewalk on other side also closed).
Security: " We don't care, you can't use it if you have a dog or walk your bike, etc."

311: Request forwarded to Parks (sigh!)

what also gets me are signs which only consider drivers. This no exit sign on June street, when their is clearly exit for pedestrians, and even cyclists.

Damn bike lanes v2 .

Nothing to do with using 60% of asphalt for personal storage.

Council: what if we chop all the trees?

still interesting looking at election results, that counties that border Canada voted highly for this.

nothing to do with walking in the woods. Both these roads go through the same forest, HRM only closed one.
August 20, 2025 at 10:56 AM
Another example how the city thinks Pedestrians don't need safety. The Woods closure has closed PPP, except for the Memorial Way Section... This is the access. The Pedestrian way in, where i circled in blue, a sign Park Closed was put (since broken), sending walkers in the road, no protection

Summer and Sackville. Looks like they have finally made crossing available to safely access cemetery.
August 15, 2025 at 1:15 PM
Worse. There is no safe way out provided to Pedestrians exiting the Cemetery.
