Ok hi everyone! I'm Meagan and I've been a Muppet fan my entire life and a Muppet nerd since ~2010 🤗 I've been involved in various ways with ToughPigs since 2013, including contributing about a dozen designs to their merch store. The Muppet fandom means a great deal to me, and I'm glad you're here 💚
Literally watching Argo rn, and reading the Wikipedia page about the Canadian Caper. Canada really stuck their neck out for U.S. citizens and did so much for us that they really didn't have to do. If the same thing happened today, I doubt they would, and I wouldn't blame them.

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

My department chair extremely generously gifted me the collection of Muppet Palisades figures her daughter played with as a kid (that were given to her by an old Muppet fan friend (who is also happy to let me have them 💚)) They need a bit of TLC, so that's my winter break project 🥰

I used some of my mom's old embroidery thread on a monochromatic cross stitch project, but have run out about halfway through. She has it marked as dmc 900 but I'm at Joann not and 900 is def not the right color.......
