Democrats follow norms and the constitution. Republicans bust norms and the constitution. That’s life. When Dem President Biden pardons his son from abuse by a future Trump DOJ, the NYT is livid and disgusted. When Trump abuses everything the NYT only finds him unprincipled. Maybe we need new norms?

Republicans vigorously defended Kyle Rittenhouse when he murdered two people with an AR15, but they wanted Hunter Biden to go to jail over lying on a form.
The fact that Republicans will just switch positions whenever it benefits them is why I think Biden's pardon was justified.
