Poilievre is being such a Muffy. I would not be surprised if his lawyers were arguing with Elections Canada right now, demanding his name be put at the top of the ballot.

I don't know if this is politically meaningful, but so far 64 people living in Alberta who have never run on a long ballot before have filled out all the forms necessary to be candidates in a by-election alongside Poilievre

The disgraceful behaviour in the White House is not about Trump or Vance.
It is about the complicity of the entire political class of the United States and the American media.
It is about the very soul of America.
They either stand up for democracy or they stand for tyranny.
The world is watching.

Over 300,000 Canadians have signed the petition to strip Elon Musk of citizenship.
The petition doesn't have the force of law but it sends a strong message.
Canadians hate fascists and extremists.
It's in our DNA.
Let's make it the largest petition in CDN history.

Knowing the names of the an unelected oligarch’s underlings who are destroying the government from within is a crime now, apparently.

My Mom is a miner's daughter. Her whole family fought Nazis.
She was walking through the snow with her walker when a woman asked her,"Will we survive Trump?"
"Of course we will," Mom replied. "I don't need asparagus. I'll eat root vegetables. We've done it before."
That's Canada.

So Justin Trudeau has finally entered his "Charlie Angus phase" in standing up to the predator from Mar-a-Lago.
The fact is, Justin wears a suit way better than me.
But I opened for the Dead Kennedy's and the Violent Femmes.
If he wants lessons in fighting Trump, I'll take him under my wing.

What's the first major news story you remember as a child?

Challenger for sure. After that the next one I remember vividly was the Berlin Wall. Then the invasion of Kuwait. Obviously other things happened between those but I'm talking off the top of my head.

Really curious about Ukrainian answers.
What's the first major news story you remember as a child?

The Challenger explosion. I remember watching the footage on the little B&W TV that only came out of the closet for space shuttle launches and presidential speeches.
