Yes. Some hopeful news from the ongoing soap opera to the south is a nice blip. Now can Canada try ending disproportionate wealth accumulation by a few at the expense of the many, rebuilding gutted social safety nets & public services, & addressing the global existential threat of climate change?

I really hope PM Carney pitching XL was just shaking the keys for the Orange Toddler, not a serious offer. We're 5 yrs (less if Premier Smith gets her "double oil production" pipedream) away from peak oil. How can XL be seen as a good investment of public $? Renewables are the present & the future.
