The critiques of this film are very reminiscent of the reaction to ZERO DARK THIRTY, where lots of people thought it was a celebration of the USA's hunt for Bin Laden, whereas Bigelow clearly intended it to provoke soul-searching about the costs of single-minded devotion to country

I did the lettering for my son's sign, but the words were 100% dictated by him. So a preschooler has a better grasp of the gospel than Roy. Faith like a child's, indeed.
