And so the cycle continues: Trump wrecks the market with his own policies, then uses taxpayer money to bail out the damage, and somehow sells it back to voters as a win. Truly exhausting.
Trump is giving another $12 billion of taxpayer money to bail out farmers again from his disastrous policies. Just like he had to bail them out in his first term from his disastrous policies. But they will continue to vote Republican, as long as they keep getting their welfare checks.

The second wave of mass protests organized by the progressive No Kings network saw protesters unite against President Trump's anti-immigration tactics, slashing of federal programs and other concerns.

Joe Biden and Netanyahu were offered same Gaza deal a year ago, says negotiator

But the Israelis had no intention of striking any agreement before a change of administration in Washington.

They wanted to give The Felon the credit.

Same.

Labeling the attacks on our school and public libraries as a “culture war” with “dueling versions of the same reality” is something the media has done for four years and our freedom to read is weaker for it.

Add me to those saying it’s crucial to acknowledge anti-authoritarian successes.

Harvard and NYT are fighting in court instead of folding.

Pritzker and other IL leaders kept Nat. Guard troops out of Chicago.

Grand juries reject frivolous charges; many lower court judges uphold the law.

And more
As @dandrezner.bsky.social notes, we must highlight where Trump's authoritarianism is failing, too.

"Civil resistance works. Combined with the inevitable economic downturn, it is what will bring his regime crashing down to Earth."
