I call this one "Clutchy's Opinion Regarding Holidays In General, and Holidays About Calendars In Specific"

It turns out that ladies' tactical-wear needs are apparently just not all that apparent to us guys. There's a *very* long history of it, back to olden days. Like, you'd think this kind of armor has a pretty glaring gap in coverage, but it really was effective:

It's cute when a fledgling organization tries to do advocacy and then realizes it's less expensive, easier and faster to just buy the politicians.

Everyone gathers in the big room and talks about which leaks they were most thankful for in the previous year

Imagine either being this stupid or this bad of a liar and getting to write things on the internet

FDR ME ASAP, let's go see if we can start a war with France before Pearl Harbor Day! I know a good way to do it... they get really pissy if you violate that idiotic interwar naval treaty. Unreasonably so, they need to tweak it.

Regardless, I will finish what William of Orange couldn't.

If you're looking to drop someone blonde around the holidays, there's only one guy to call.

Carl Winslow.

Here I was looking for Christmas music last week and I didn't even notice this

More sludge metal acts should name themselves after leftover zinc/lead mining waste.

I don't know why every time I see one of those charts where it shows things starting to get shitty in the 80s they put a Regan head on the chart, but they never put the Clinton head on the chart when the economy actually decoupled from labor, by design, thanks to the Democratic party, in the 1990s.

Still dying at the memo-speak on a customer-facing sign like it's a goddamned doctor's office.

If you see the word "impacting" anywhere around the word "cash" it was in a memo or e-mail at some point that was reviewed by an MBA, guaranteed.

That's the pic used on his 1970 Topps card, his first one.

I have one of those, but I've also got one of Davey where he's younger...

Also, I got more data to support my theory that this little stretch of road is THE place to see the city's worst driving. West Mitchell between Spring Grove and Vine is a mix of people driving 100 mph and blowing red lights, and people so stoned they can't figure out which way to point their Kia.

I was spooked by this and immediately went back to the bank and closed out my accounts, but I was too late. This is all that was left.

Got some bad news when I picked up lunch while I was out. I mean, the good news is that I had a Mac and cheese way because I no longer care if I live or die. But it looks like the currency is in trouble: the cash crunch has hit Skyline:

You know what would be really cool? If I took this old Corvette, painted it teal, then tried to make it look like Arch Hall Jr's dune buggy in Eegah

Can't believe the search didn't immediately turn up the statue of the town's most famous former (?!?!?!?!?!?!!!) resident; it's got an ass that won't quit:

Closing out some tabs, I really do think it's important to be friendly with the computers now that they're probably learning to have emotions and shit

Amazon did something weird today when I was trying to buy some little metal bit to fix something, and apparently you cannot turn the shit off and I guess maybe it is better to just go to Wal-Mart or Home Depot for shit like this.

I'll just quote the AI on this, because we're cooked as a species.

We don't talk about what Total Request Live pulled into the mainstream

I will eat my hat if you can get the remaining "Democratic Base" to do literally anything the least bit populist, not after you've spent the last 3+ decades trying to chase every shred of populism from the party. Fuck off. It's time for someone else to try.

You'd think the WSJ readership would understand how retail operations generally work, but you have to remember they are MBAs and do not realize that businesses have expenses like "the thing the business uses to make the thing they sell to people."
