this is my read on it as well. Literally only downsides for Zohran if it got leaked before Election Day that he was backing Chi in a primary.

If you’re gonna dismiss Zohran’s win because of NYC, then what about all the other cities that are more left wing than NYC? Dems get bigger margins in Madison, Santa Fe, and Providence (to name a few). If leftist Dems win there are we gonna discredit those results too?
