Needed 2 things- a small box and a pack of loose leaf. Went to Staples bc I wanted to get it in 1 stop on my way. They’re out of the box I needed. An 80 sheet pack of paper rang up at $8.19. I truly felt like I might lose my shit in that moment. I laughed like a crazy person as I left empty handed.

As a Dem, I was very happy for a cease fire. I was so happy to see people returned alive. I was hopeful the return of the dead would bring closure for families. I was distrusting of the lasting nature of the peace, and Trump’s true role in it. I’m sad that my distrust wasn’t misplaced.
