I once made my mum tea with water not completely freshly boiled from the kettle, but like 2minutes after, this was not hot enough to scald the cup, and she made me remake it, I was 40. Very against ISO 3103 is my mum.

when i say "forever" i'm only referring to data that you either don't need or actively want gone. data you actually care about will disappear in seconds and somehow be fully unrecoverable. this is due to an ancient and planet-wide curse that cannot be lifted.

Digital archives have ongoing costs in perpetuity. You can't fund a "digital archive" with a one-time grant. YOU CAN'T FUND A DIGITAL ARCHIVE WITH A ONE-TIME GRANT
