In #Seinfeld season 9 episode 10: The Strike, Kramer says "Let's bagel" as he begins his shift at the bagel bakery. This is a reference to Super Mario 64, where players would sometimes mishear Mario's catchphrase "Let's-a go" as "Let's bagel." Super Mario 64 had released just 17 months earlier.

Shout out to the Sanrio import store in my old neighborhood which has dutifully kept its old sign up to this day, despite the fact that it went out of business and became a laundromat 20 years ago. 🫡

I highly recommend that any Mega Man fans check out Rockman-san/Mr. Mega Man. I was expecting it to just be a non-canonical gag series, and that is partly true, but it's also a heartfelt story that takes the Mega Man setting and its ramifications seriously.

The RPGsite review says this as a positive but they're basically describing my nightmare. I guess I'm funny in that I love grinding if it's entirely self directed (and the combat is good), but the minute you start giving me arbitrary missions to dictate how I grind I check the fuck out.

Ok I am certainly biased and also in the middle of a hyperfixation phase but I strongly feel that this is the best value gaming purchase one can possibly make right now

Played Uncharted Waters on NSO. Discovered it's really cool. Found out there's an Uncharted Waters MMO that has been going for 20 years, where you play as a charming PS2 era anime-style 15th century European, & watch your ships sail along trade routes for hours. This is very dangerous for me.

It's a dream of mine to own the dumbest possible edition of every popular ubiquitous board game, but I can never commit to a purchase because I keep finding dumber ones.
