Happy hump day lovely phone family. Hope you're all well.
Today is International Animal Rights Day. Until we start treating animals and the planet with the reverence they deserve, we'll never be the best version of humanity.
Have a beautiful day everyone, and of course #HaveCourageAndBeKind ❤️

I'm so glad I moved to Colin's plot. I didn't realise how lonely I was before.
He comes every morning and after he's fed me he stays and does work on the plot. I think Maurine has been going to Sammy's plot for his meals. I think he will love it there.
We are both very happy cats.

Well done LutonTown and Forest Green. Proper cup tie, lots of goals and played in a great spirit. Two likeable guys in charge of the teams.

The Jamaican government spokespeople are very impressive. A terrible tragedy for the country but they speak with compassion.

Brrr grim afternoon cold, wet and now dark. Memories of wet Sundays in London and a trip to one of the museums. Tea afterwards at my Aunt Cicely’s house in Bayswater. Crumpets and damson jam. There was a tree in her narrow garden. Home to Watford in Dad’s old car.

My husband @mjowen174.bsky.social really needs some work.
AI has had a very detrimental effect on his earnings this year.
ChatGTP doesn’t have bills to pay and doesn’t have to worry constantly.
Please repost far and wide because I don’t like to see ‘Sad Matt’
If you could please do us a favour and RT (or whatever it is on here) my writing CV I would be extremely grateful. I am a very capable writer of words, mainly “humorous”’ and if you have some PROPER paid work for me, please DM me. Thank you for your time www.mathew-owen.co.uk

Oh how very sad to learn that Patricia Routledge has died. She was wonderful as Hetty Wainthropp. The character Kitty was just perfect.

I hardly watch TV now. There is however a little piece of treasure on Channel 4 called Narrow Escapes. Life on the waterways, beautifully filmed, lovely people living life a little differently. Artwork is beautiful, full of humour and kindness. Good thing post.

My good thing post for today. The first single I bought with my own (pocket) money was Wichita Lineman - Glen Campbell. Written by the wonderful Jimmy Webb. Would I buy it now? Absolutely!

Thank you.
If I’m being honest, I’m feeling pretty crap about my small business.

It’s so bloody difficult at the moment with rising costs, US tariffs, Brexit nonsense and the threat of AI.

Shall try to post one good thing each day to relieve the awfulness around us. A memory of London Zoo as a child and catching the water bus back to Paddington. An autumn treat for ten year old me sixty years ago.

This Creeping Evil. The stupid racists have always been there, but somehow they've become emboldened. At my club, of all clubs. Absolutely sickened by this.
We regret to report that we have been made aware of an allegation of racist abuse directed towards a Bradford City player during our game at Valley Parade this afternoon.
