(And taking a break from reading novels.)
I love comics but I'm picky, and that pickiness means that when stuff doesn't it, it can be demoralizing, but when a book hits it reminds me why I love comics so much

I often think about how much I love comics, and how the last 10-15 years of my life has changed how I read the.
I mean, I'm still floppies, but right now I have like 50 unread floppies in my pile + collecteds etc.

Watched Deadperine and, that movie would have been way better without Deadpool.
I'm kind of furious that the most pathos and emotional honesty we've gotten in any X-Men movie to this point was forced to piggyback on that tired ass schtick.
And yes, I laughed at times and enjoyed the fight scenes.

This New Mutants book was my first X-book of any kind, and 2 years later when I picked up X-Force 13 and went all in on it, it took my far too long to recognize some of the characters that were in both :D
