Finally, a journalism team that prints an accurate headline!

Just had to find it in Scotland. Courtesy of my good friend over there, who I hope will continue to send updates on the adequately abusive headlines that follow him everywhere.

I really do like Murakami's 1Q84... But I've been slowly grinding through it for 5 years behind everything else like it's some monumental mission that must be accomplished no matter what it takes.

Being handed this ticket at the #MA RMV feels like a (prescient) slap in the face from the Universe 😅😬

Really clear and thoughtful piece on the backdrop for the 'Techno-Feudalism' casually developing in front of us every day. The hubris of these guys is astounding, thinking they will always be able to control what they unleash.
Part of how we got fascism in the United States is that a bunch of Silicon Valley oligarchs lost their collective mind in 2020 and radicalized into techno-fascists on group chats. Marc Andreesen is the epicenter of this shift.

The Techno-Fascist Soul of Marc Andreessen
The uprising of 2020 didn't just challenge the systemic racism of American policing; they terrified the oligarchs of Silicon Valley. For Marc Andreessen, the billionaire venture capitalist, the sight ...

Great food, great friends, and a brutal judo workout... Can't really ask for better on a July 4 weekend! Especially while the country turns against its own purported values. Appreciate the people that still make life good. 😊

Getting ready for a couple hours of Sunday Funday. #judo

Welp, guess I have to do my annual log in to the hellish bird place to yell at Lisa Murkowski on her chosen app. I'll still yell at Susan Collins too, for old time's sake, even though she voted against this time.

Faux wood paneling and sharing a free shot with the bar tender are solid indicators of a good Boston bar. I love post-judo social hour(s).

It was wonderful to train last night with our #judo guest, the incredible Friba Rezayee. Not only the first Afghan woman to ever compete in the Olympics, but a true trailblazer and champion for all women. On top of all that, she's simply a delightful person. It was an honour to have her on our mats!

As someone born literally on this base, with a father who served many years in the 82nd...

This whole charade was utterly disgraceful, wholly disgusting, and wildly disrespectful. Unacceptable is right, but I wish there was a stronger word for this abomination.

At work on a dreary Boston day, my phone has decided it's appropriate to remind me of this gorgeous day by Lake Tahoe last summer. Thanks for rubbing it in, phone 😅

Always wonderful to see an old friend for a visit, even if for a short time. And even if (or maybe especially when?) you have a good natured fight. 😊🥋

Solitary lunch out... A rare, self-indulgent, and sacred treat! 10/10 should do it again.

I'm so happy people are finally talking about Christian Nationalism, I truly am.

But, if you're viewing rightwing ecosystem through the lens of a hierarchy--i.e., Heritage Foundation being the head of the network--you're not getting how the right works.

They essentially function like a co-op. 🧵
In the 80s, Big Oil & televangelists colluded to radicalize the GOP & white evangelicals, & created the most powerful group you never heard of:

The Council for National Policy.

We are all witnessing their 40 year plot come to fruition.

I feel like I should at least have a park bench named after me somewhere, with the amount of money I've donated to the City of Somerville via stupid parking tickets.

Absolutely vile, cowardly, and disgusting.
🚨House Republicans just passed a bill that would disenfranchise 70 million married American women.

Under the SAVE Act, women who took their spouse’s last name and don't have an updated passport or birth certificate would be turned away at the polls.

It's been one week today, and there has STILL been no reason given for Rumeysa Öztürk's kidnapping by ICE. This country grows more unconscionable by the day.

Still very proud of the organizers and thousands who showed up in Somerville in less than 24 hours to support her and make our voices heard.
