Gemini 3 seems to be doing well, but the cost per task in “deep think” mode is also skyrocketing. Pay attention to the scale of the x-axis, it is not linear. Gemini 3 Deep Think here is 100 times more expensive than Gemini 3 Pro.

Do you think there's a world, that didn't happen, in which social media was built into an internet protocol?
So, meaning... individuals release comments, blogs, video, music, etc from a single source. And then social media acts as the feed, not the host. Similar to how RSS worked, and email works.

The more I learn, the more I believe that all the doomsday predictions about AI energy consumption are completely wrong.
Completely wrong.
I think that system optimizations will largely compensate for this.
We will need energy, but not for AI: for the explosion in production that it will enable.
