Masked raids are tools of fear, not freedom. Despite what this administration wants you to believe, they are not about “safety.” They are about letting ICE agents hide from accountability while carrying out inhumane acts.

Here we have the Vice President of the United States caping for a grown adult - not a kid - for being an avowed racist, while attacking the journalist who uncovered it.

This is what they want. Let *that* sink in.

Dang, if only we knew somebody in Congress.
Congress must take action to restore the rule of law.

What’s the move here with Musk ordering hard drives into the computers at Treasury, etc.? This hardware can’t possibly be vetted by NSA or whomever is responsible for cybersec; let alone overstepping bounds as an “advisor” and not legally having the right to make changes. Is there suit to be filed?

There’s a new product on my Etsy shop; stickers for the politically-minded (or just plain mischievous). Check it out at blproductstudio/etsy.com!

Growing up, I had people frequently ask me “what” I am. If Trump we’re president when I was a kid, I would not technically be subject to deportation (my dad was a citizen), but I imagine there’d be enough randos with hate boners looking to throw me on a boat.

The Apple Sports app keeps sending me spoilers for this football game I’m watching.

More fun with AI, 1/2

This time with Meta’s implementation, they took a few regenerations to get right but altogether an interesting exercise.

In this batch, me on the cover of a Japanese city pop album, as a Green Lantern, in a classic Disney animated film…

Post a game you got for Christmas.

I thought I’d have clever commentary here but this was just a fun run down memory lane.

spaghetti has to be one of the five great dinners
A pain we know all too well is how you’ll spend 10 minutes on a post getting it perfect and it’ll bomb and then you’ll post “spaghetti has to be one of the five great dinners” and get 10,000 likes

Is anyone else finding videos on Bsky to be choking? Not a one of them loads, for me.

I just gotta brag about it. @violettewind.bsky.social and I fricking KILLED this Thanksgiving. Best turkey we’ve ever had; secret was a 40 hour brine and then a dry spice rub pre-roast. Balsamic bacon Brussels sprouts. Homemade Jollibee gravy.

There were no photos, too busy loving it all. Happy TD

A handful of billionaires now have unprecedented control over banking, the food we eat, the health care we can access and, now, the information we receive.

This is what oligarchy looks like.

Good point in thread. We’re not all right or all wrong, but current discourse encourages a lack of nuance.
RFK announcement puts a fine point on something I've been trying to articulate and is a theme of the Trump years. It's something I've wrestled with and that a lot of Dem messaging has gotten wrong. Part of what Trump does is constantly divide the country along the lines of pro-system and anti-system
