You may think there’s a loftier goal. But this is the unavoidable consequence. Excluding trans women from women’s spaces will affect more cis women than trans women. My trans friend ‘passes’. My cis friend who is 6”1 gets hassled on a regular basis.

Ah I thought it was oddly specific. You said general example. So in your mind safe spaces doesn't mean bathrooms and changing rooms, etc., it means places to meet for discussion/political organising?

You don’t judge people by that but you do want them to be defined by it. And nothing to do with access to bathrooms.
