Just a sad puppet dancing to someone else's tune.

Oh, and I also like Infinity Nikki, manga, and videogames, I guess.
My builder feels fairly confident that everything can get finished up by next Tuesday.

I'm almost to the point where I can start putting the house back together. It feels like I am finally getting my life back.

The last seven months has revolved around getting ready for this project.

Goodbye nasty carpet.

Hello vinyl that looks like wood.

Staying at hotel is rough when you didn't plan for it and only had a short time to throw a few things into a sack.

Thank goodness that nightmare is over.

The only good thing about it was the hotel cafe. Expensive as sin but I loved the food. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was killer.

I'm back home. Most of the floor has been installed. Only two rooms remain and they are half done.

However, they built the shower floor wrong and are going to have to pull it up and start over.

The new wall tiles look great though.

Hope we are done by Thanksgiving.

Elon Musk is like a figure in a Greek myth punished for his hubris.

The curse the gods have laid upon him is to be completely unlovable and so tries to build people who he can force to love his rancid personality.

A modern day Pygmalion who created his Galatea in the his chatbots & Grok
I asked grok who was the better role model for humanity, Jesus Christ or Elon Musk. GUESS WHAT.

Once the floor is down and the bathroom is working again, I really want to spend a week doing nothing, but I know I have to unpack all my stuff.

If I don't get everything out of my storage unit before the end of December, I'll have to pay for another month and I've spent more than enough on this

Many among the videogame chattering class are going to be absolutely insufferable if Expedition 33 doesn't run the table at the Game Awards, using its victory as a weapon against the industry

They will be just as insufferable if it doesn't run the table and use its defeat to fuel their narrative

I'm back at the house watching as the last of the horrible carpet gets ripped out.

We are several days behind schedule, and depending on how far they get, I may end up staying at the hotel an extra night.

As much as this sucks, the floor that's been laid down looks great.

Beseria seems like a weird choice to remaster next. It's was a PS4 title so it isn't that old, but I have frequently seen it sell for $10 new.

I imagine they decided to put it on Switch since that seems to be where the majority of the JRPG audience is and just slapped Remastered on the box

Lowest I’ve ever seen Metaphor go for.

I wasn’t super impressed with this one, but I know a lot of people had this as their favorite JRPG of last year.

I’m at a hotel.

There is a roach in the bathroom.

This room cost a fortune.

I just want to cry.

Nine otome games currently scheduled for 2026. And could still get some more announcements.

This counts as a lean year for the genre.

Now I’m more and more excited for next year, we got some good games coming!! What are you mostly excited about? 💖

The flooring crew started in my only other bathroom and the main bathroom is still under construction.

I have to wait three hours before I can check into a hotel because otherwise I have to pee in the backyard like a dog.

My bathroom is still a wreck. They found several issues with the water when they gutted the shower, but better they fix them than just paper over it.

The ramp to the front door and the walking path that circles the house all the way from the front door to the back porch looks great.
