Last thought on my dream; when I got to the studio they were watching a movie called “The Savage King of the Planet of the Apes.” Turns out, in this reality, Toho held the exclusive Japanese rights to PoTA and made about 30 movies between the 60’s and 80’s that all had that crazy Godzilla aesthetic.

Best part of the dream was a cameo by @bibbymoynihan.bsky.social walking past a window in the waiting room, and did a fun bit where he spotted me and jovially pointed to himself yelling “It’s me!” To which I replied “It’s you!”

Will Ferrell was sitting across from me and asked “Who’s you?”

This, of course, is a case of dream imitating life because I was once invited to be on the @nevernotfunny.com podcast via zoom during the pandemic lockdown, and my Internet went down moments after my introduction, rendering the entire episode a disaster.

Yeah, I recognize that it’s good joke structure, and I get why she’s popular, but her material just ain’t for me.
