I'm running Bones and Videotape by @mattumland.bsky.social from Hull Breach, my first foray into Mothership, as a break for my normal group. It's a 9-page adventure and we're about to start our 9th (!!!) session on it! The players love it, both the adventure and Mothership. Pitch perfect adventure.

Yesterday I began a new play-by-post game using Cairn 2E ( @yochaigal.bsky.social ). Our first adventure is Black Wyrm of Brandonsford. So far the players are mostly just posting a bunch of in character dialogue. I think I love pbp.

Unfortunately, there has been a little mix up at the Office of the Registrar for the Dead and Undying and your death certificate is…missing. Fortunately, you are free to continue “living” in your current state until we can locate your paperwork or you die again, whichever comes first. Possessions None Skills 1 Fly 1 Second sight 1 Slight of hand 2 Sneak 3 Spell - Fear 2 Spell - Possession (4 - The target must Test Their Luck (Skill for enemies) or the player inhabits their body. On the player’s turn they may use any of the target’s abilities but none of their own. All damage done to the target also harms the player. At the end of the player’s turn, they must Test Their Luck to continue possessing the target.) Special Despite the fact that you are a ghost, you are capable of dying again. Your semi-incorporeal nature grants armor of 2 but halves healing.

After 9 sessions, the Big Squirm is complete. 1 PC was eaten by a Pretender Worm. 1 died in a poison gas trap. 1 was killed by deadly silver threads welded by an even deadlier assassin. Everyone else got rich but also got turned into a pig.
