Yes, that too, even as a minor contributor to net migration. Policies that make the UK less attractive make it less attractive for everyone.

No shit… who could possibly have foreseen that?

I also wonder how permanent any cost savings are. If it’s mostly personnel cost, I’m sceptical that frozen hiring / redundancies made in anticipation of magical efficiencies won’t have to be undone – at least in part.

Yep this stood out to me – lots of “adoption” within marketing but not matched by significant efficiencies. Maybe down to marketing AI tools being relatively cheap/easy to kick off, enabling managers can say they’re compliant with board mandates to adopt AI.

Happy with the accomplishment. I can’t say I loved every second of it, but I’ve answered the two questions I set out to answer:

1) Can I do it? – Turns out, yes
2) Would I do it again? Pretty sure that’s a no.

Massive respect to all those who do these but further / more often #runnning #runsky

Do something amazing this Xmas. Go to your local independent specialists wine shop. This doesn’t mean a chain btw! Ask the owner of the business to recommend you some wines, and I am pretty sure you’ll get a great deal. Wine doesn’t have to be expensive to be good.
