If Zack Polanski says “bollocks” or “i don’t want to wipe someone’s bum,” i just think we finally have someone forthright on the left rather than pussyfooting around with doublespeak as usual. I don’t see he was setting out to be offensive. Too honest for Hislop!

Don’t spoil us with a whole serving of greens, Wasabi. Another brand ruined by new terrible shop layouts. Any form of retail now just a machine for transferring wealth from us to the usual suspects, with little attempt to actually gain or keep our custom.

Sad to hear TV director Amanda Brotchie has passed away.
Recent credits have included the last three episodes of Riot Women for Sally Wainwright, and arguably the two best episodes of the RTD era of Doctor Who - "Lux" and "The Well".

Looking back at this old Xmasy things, it's amazing how long all the tropes we know have been in place now. I don't recall pigs in blankets before the 90s though?
