Everton showing more attacking intent at OT with 10 men than we’ve seen all season

Frank is overly cautious, and it's annoying. He has to change it. I think we both want the same thing from him -- but I expected this to be a very underwhelming season, followed by a better one, and I'm still expecting that

It's been 12 games, he's had one transfer window, and multiple injuries to key players. I honestly think it's way too early for judgment. I agree that it's poor to watch, very disappointing how feeble we were against arch rivals, but Iraola lost 9 of his first Prem games, and is now a good coach

Keep coming back to this pod and today was the antithesis of what I think of as ‘the Tottenham way’
New episode out now

This week we discuss "the Tottenham Way". What is the Tottenham Way? What does it mean to us? Should we always play it that way? Does it ever hamper us? And do other clubs have a "way"?

Going from Ange to Frank was ridiculous. Ange may not have been the right fit (personally I think he was) but you can’t go for the polar opposite. Ange’s attacking philosophy without his completely gung ho nature would’ve been ideal - who’s that manager though?
November 23, 2025 at 6:55 PM
Emotions are high after that. I get it. Don’t think TF is the man to take us forward but equally think it’s pretty pointless to get rid. Our trouble is we flit from one style of manager to another. We need an identity and that comes from the very top. We need to back that identity and build on it

Eze was always scoring today. In no way did I think it would be a hat trick. Set piece FC didn’t even need to score a set piece… At least that myth of Frank making us harder to beat can die a death. Abysmal
November 23, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Sorry Thomas but that was absolutely abysmal. Please never set up like we’re competition winners ever again. First Chelsea, then that. You’re losing plenty of goodwill my friend!

Turns out I was completely wrong. This is absolutely awful
Seems very split reactions on here to that starting line up. Personally I’m fairly happy with it. Just hoping we play with some passion and get something from this. Can worry about better free flowing performances outside of this game! Come on you Spurs!

Mad that Kane took free kick after free kick and did chuff all from any of them while Sonny was right there
November 23, 2025 at 11:10 AM
This is ABSOLUTELY the spirit!
Simplest solution to stop them winning the league is us winning the league. We can go a long way towards that tomorrow by beating them at their place.
November 22, 2025 at 8:32 PM
Right Spurs. Up to us to stop them going 7 clear of City then. No big deal

Those years of disappointment being slightly interrupted by one special night in Bilbao, of course

I'm in it. No matter what the football has been like, living up north from when I went to uni it's been a bit lonely as a spurs fan. However, the last few years as my youngest has truly fallen in love with Spurs, and sharing my years of mostly disappointment with him have been the best

The season that we first qualified for the UEFA Cup under Jol. I had absolute confidence that we were going to qualify during the run in and it was really good fun

Sparked by this episode I got thinking about what was my favourite period of supporting Spurs. It’s not necessarily when we were at our best (although peak Poch period is definitely up there) For the whole package - pubs, mates, trips etc. Jol, Redknapp through to Poch pre Wembley for me. You?

Semenyo in January would be quite the statement

Having lost every game this season so far, feared the worst when my sons team went 5-0 down. An incredible fight back saw them win 6-5. Won with the final kick of the game. Brilliant stuff!

Good to see. Here’s hoping for showing more of this
Tottenham v Man United

1) Progressive passing
2) Progressive carries
3) First half domination zones
4) Second half domination zones

We have activity up the centre, folks. This is positive. #COYS

I think I need to stop getting so frustrated with how we’re playing. Try to remember the injuries we have, Frank being a notoriously slow starter etc. A draw (very almost a win) against a side playing once a week that have recently beaten Liverpool and Chelsea. Maybe it’s not so bad
November 8, 2025 at 6:11 PM
Maybe not
There’s TF’s Nuno moment

Echo what I said last week. There’s no easier game than Tottenham away. Have absolutely nothing going forward and we’ll gift you a goal at the back. Absolute shite
November 8, 2025 at 1:22 PM
Why do I bother with this every week. Same old shite served up. Missing my sons game today for this absolute dross
