Actually, now that I think about it, the problem is that Netflix, Prime, HBO Max etc. ARE the new Blockbusters, so it's not nostalgia or paralysis but really the fact that people aren't being served by massive corps (shocker, I know!).

I kind of agree with both perspectives here. If I had even considered the possibility of the Criterion Channel when I was a teenager my brain would have exploded. But there's no question that I found things at my local video store that I just wouldn't have found with the current mainstream services.

Yeah that’s exactly why I haven’t moved to TRACE or something. I don’t have a standard second guess, my goal is also more 3s than 4s and I have a pretty good cushion atm.

Oh wow, P or C on first one! I see why you got in 2 with SALON. I start with STARE but I think C is underrated and S is probably overrated since they don't do plurals.

There are things I really love about that adaptation, but I find it to be a little too straight for a SHF adaptation. And Pilgrim is such a difficult protagonist for a movie!
