Gun violence fell even more in May in the 20 agencies that make up New York state's Gun-Involved Violence Elimination (GIVE) initiative. A new record low reached (data back to 2006), down 24% YTD through May and down nearly 60% over the last 12 months compared to the 12 month peak.
