A tipster noticed that a DEMTEK dumpster appeared behind the old Spartanburg Herald-Journal building. Along with it, caution tape with "DANGER ASBESTOS HAZARD" was on the front door.

Let me share a quick bit of irony: I set up my Bluesky account as clouds rolled in over downtown Spartanburg. (Sharing my current view.)

There's wind, too, but that hasn't stopped anyone from eating barbecue or listening to music at Hub City Hog Fest.
