It’s no coincidence that Trump and Netanyahu have both chosen this moment to wag the dog. Netanyahu needs the war footing to stay in power and Trump needs to play autocrat to distract from the big bad bill that doubles down on the chaos he’s currently creating.

I will say as often as I need to that Donald Trump is not a king. I am pleased that we have won a temporary block to these harmful funding cuts, and I look forward to continuing to protect the health and well-being of Minnesotans by litigating this important case.

Donald Trump can pardon Derek Chauvin’s FEDERAL crimes. It would be an insult. But he can do it. He CANNOT pardon Chauvin’s state crimes. Chauvin would still have to serve 22 years for murdering George Floyd.

President Trump and his administration are coming after Minnesota, threatening to cut off our federal funding unless we turn our backs on trans kids. This is bullying, plain and simple.

Reporters: Please stop calling things DEI that are not DEI. This is only cementing the propaganda being used to legitimize the dismantling of all types of initiatives that are not DEI as well as legitimize efforts to end civil rights enforcement. Be specific with your language. Be accurate.
