Maintaining a dead woman's body for 5 months then delivering a one pound highly premature baby from her corpse is a cruel medical experiment.
If ever you wonder why there are high levels of medical mistrust in the Black community, remember this story.

Absolutely wild. How are folks not up in arms about this??!?

A CLEAR conflict of interest. Do you want to know where the slashed NIH budget went? I can take a guess 👀
Just got a tip from a guy at the FAA. You'll never believe who is still getting new government contracts while all the contracts at the Department of Education and USAID and other agencies are being nuked from orbit.

Executive wants to frame the NIH indirects cut as $4B in savings.

But given that NIH returns $2.5 on every $1 investment, this would actually cost US economy a net $6 BILLION (per year!). Not to mention the human costs of wrecking education and research sectors and the communities they serve.
Direct Economic Contributions
NIH directly supports the economy through investments in research institutions and job formation.

It is *very* important to understand that Jews were never the only target of the 1930s Nazis and they are not the only targets of today’s Nazis. A Nazi salute is not only antisemitic. It is also racist, ableist, and queerphobic.

I just looked at a highly circulated starter pack for top science and science communicators and there are 58 men, 27 women, the rest orgs based in the US, and 95% white. Maybe, just maybe, do a bit of curation and check your biases and show some care with what you put out into the wild.

Graduate school is inaccessible even with fee waivers. With a GRE fee wavier, it costs 100 USD to take the test, money to send the scores to the grad program, and money for official transcripts. To have diverse scientists we need to make graduate school more accessible. #AcademicSky 🧪
