How I'm feeling after my first Seattle Election Week
November 12, 2025 at 4:58 AM
All of this data includes primary election finances, but regardless incumbant Davison joins the moderate crew as another likely defeat in Tuesdays election. All those Rouse and O'Sullivan votes are almost certainly going to Evans.
November 2, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Polling from @nwprogressive.org shows incumbant Nelson faces one of the steepest reelection battles. Her opponent, Dionne Foster, is trouncing her in terms of individual contributors.
November 2, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Bruce Harrell has raised more money, but from less people. He's still the incumbent and may win over fence voters based on name recognition, but it's still an uphill battle.
November 2, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Katie Wilson is slightly behind incumbent Bruce Harrell in terms of money raised, but has around 4k more individual contributors. Looking deeper into the data, Harrell also has raised more money from outside Seattle. This is all good news for the Wilson campaign

Walking around Bremerton this peaceful morning and Quincy Square is fantastic! I'll have to check it out this afternoon when it comes to life. This needs to be copied multiple times throughout Seattle

Anecdotal, but these benches and flower pots didn't exist here until a few weeks ago when the petition was launched. Prior to that the space was empty except for a broken wooden tabletop and the occasional shopping cart

POSITION 9:
Foster - 2,920 supporters
Nelson - 1,397 supporters
Nelson didn't use Democracy Vouchers, which cap campaign donation amount. Foster is trailing in money, but double in supporters. Since Position 9 is city-wide, alongside popular Rinck's Position 8, Nelson has an uphill reelection battle
July 27, 2025 at 10:57 PM
POSITION 8:
Do I need to break this down? There is no race here. Rinck is going to take this away, esp since Savage, a Republican, will probably make it to the general.
July 27, 2025 at 10:57 PM
POSITION 2:
Chunn - 816 supporters
Ducksworth - 1,853 supporters
Ederer - 42 supporters
Fackler - 944 supporters
Lin - 2,186 supporters
Lin has a decent lead of supporters and is only lagging slightly behind Ducksworth for money, and vice versa. Chunn and Fackler voters will determine the general.
July 27, 2025 at 10:57 PM
CITY ATTORNEY:
Davison - 2,923 supporters
Evans - 2,512 supporters
O'Sullivan - 3,851 supporters
Rouse - 2,750 supporters
Again, the incumbent is in trouble and progressive opposition is split. Davison leads money-wise but has middling support. Her challenger won't struggle to woo over the others.
July 27, 2025 at 10:57 PM
MAYOR:
Harrell - 5,100 supporters
Wilson - 5,978 supporters
Armstrong - 2,947 supporters
This is great news for Wilson; she will certainly pick up Armstrong voters. Some Armstrong contributors also contributed to Wilson, but regardless she still leads supporters and matches Harrell's money pool.

Silence fools, the state-sanctioned activist is speaking

This is not a Conservative rout, despite Polievere losing his own riding. The NDP collapsed to the benefit of the Liberals but Con gained seats. BQ could be kingmakers.

"Who here really believes we can win the war through the ballot box? But will anyone here object if, with a ballot paper in this hand and an Armalite in the other, we take power in Ireland?"

This alt is busier but less bright cyan. It's still quite happy and bright for gloomy Washington tho

My vote is already cast for Lariat Design's beauty. He already did a great job w Bellingham and his other concepts are solid

The Good Rain (5/5)
Each chapter focuses on a specific part of Washington, explaining in poetic detail the history and shape of the land. Well-written and obviously a labor of love. I appreciate Washington even more after having read it.
