"Why is the birth rate declining?" Because of bullshit like this.
Monsters. They've abolished universal newborn Hep B vaccination, in an 8-3 vote. Since 1991, that dose prevented 6M+ infections, almost 100k deaths, & millions of chronic liver disease/cancer cases.

This is class warfare via crimes against public health.

Protesting during late stage capitalism results in some pretty clever ideas
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

The sucess of the Minneapolis 2040 Plan has been hampered by a worsening economy, interest rates, and lawsuits, YET it still stabilized rents while other cities suffered increases

My most woke opinion is that cities should completely ignore suburban commuters and design the city we aspire to be. They’ll either begrudgingly commute in by car, mode shift, or be replaced by others in foot traffic
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Minnesota would have insane home field advantage for 3-4 months, literally freezing out any opponents
MLS is considered a seismic shift to its calendar. This graphic does a good job of illustrating the proposed change.

With Sara Nelson gone, the Seattle City Council will need a new Council President. Since council conservatives have a 3-6 or 4-5 majority (depending on how you view Stauss), the choice will boil down to how council conservatives want to play the next few years: compromising or hardball.

Once again reminding everyone that "insane ripoff financial products/scams are awesome" vs "all debt is a sinful moral failing pushed by (((bankers)))" actually represents a huge wedge within the far-right.

Let's take a break from Seattle mayoral political talk and talk about who's going to be the next Council President. We now have a 4-5 Progressive/Moderate split if you count Strauss (which I am because he's smart enough to feel the political winds)
