Like, aesthetically, this looks great. They nailed it.

Sample size is never big enough for me when you start breaking it down too much.

I’d just like to know if the people who swung towards Trump in 2024 would have voted for Biden (even as Biden’s approval rating was in the shitter)
November 11, 2025 at 4:52 PM
Yes, but how do I know, looking at an approval poll, whether someone hates Schumer from the right or from the left?

How do I know whether the people who do approve only do so because they don’t like the other options?

That’s why my head-to-head approval will tell us more about the person answering

I guess if you are more affected by flight delays than by massive increases in your health care costs (from about $300/mo to about $1000/mo), this would be your take.

I would think of $700 a month as a significant budget hit, but what do I know?

I find approval ratings to be a poor determinant of how someone feels.

Do I think Schumer sucks ass? Yes.

Do I also prefer him 100% to Trump? Also yes.

I propose opinion head-to-heads. Who do you prefer: Trump or AOC? JD Vance or Elizabeth Warren?

It’d give us better idea of the electorate.

I was just wondering if the menswear guy has weighed in on this. I bet he already has a thread.
November 11, 2025 at 2:21 PM
He seems like a real shithead! Don’t worry, I got the main gist of the article and the writing got better. The Empire State Building stuff at the end was a perfect kicker.

I don’t think you can discount this shift by blaming it on restriction of voting rights, in part because the black women’s vote in 2024 was almost identical to 2020.

I think misogyny is probably a better explanation, but you don’t seem to want to talk about that.

Anyway, have a good one.

I’m not “dunking”. I just don’t like it when articles don’t provide clarity.

And again, I think you’d be happier if you didn’t take on this “scolding” personality that you insist on adopting. But that’s just my opinion.

Have a nice day.

I’m sorry if this is the first you’re hearing about this, but in close elections, these kind of shifts can make a significant difference:

Young Black and Latino men say they chose Trump because of the economy and jobs. Here's how and why
Black and Latino voters moved toward Republican Donald Trump in this year's presidential election, and some of the biggest shifts were among men under age 45, and that helped expand his margin over De...

Sounds like you’re doing the generalizing now.

How do you know those people were “Christian”?

How do you explain to move towards Trump among (young) black & Hispanic men?

Maybe just take a breath and relax, I was just making a small point and now you’re mad on the internet.
November 11, 2025 at 2:02 PM
Not sure what point you’re making here. I was just upset that the wording of that sentence created an extremely false picture of where the country is at.
November 11, 2025 at 1:44 PM
Okay, but that little slip *drastically* changes the sentence (and the amount of people we’re talking about)
November 11, 2025 at 1:04 PM
The cavers are going to be onside. No question about that. They are team players, possibly doing what Schumer told them to do.

The problem is that there are a lot of people (who aren’t the cavers) that feel pissed off & betrayed by the cavers.
November 10, 2025 at 10:21 PM
That says 16 percent
November 10, 2025 at 10:17 PM
I got a couple of paragraphs in… this isn’t true. He didn’t win men under 30 by that much.
November 10, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Okay, but the Democrats are using that agency to fuck us over.
