Kid reading vertical “drugs” sign backwards. It is surely an innocent mistake on his part, not yet educated on which direction to interpret the letters, but it does give the impression that he has, perhaps, taken drugs himself, of a potency significant enough to make him forget how to read. I assume the sign is for a pharmacy.

It’d be sick as hell if one single CEO of a major American studio was smart enough to realize AI is a scam and refuse to engage with it. Just an absolute slam dunk - you get the support of the artists you need to make your stuff, and you’re not left holding the bag when the bubble pops. But alas!!!

Joke of the day from Moscow: Russia tried to unveil its first humanoid AI robot, Aidol. Key word: tried. The robot collapsed during its debut, forcing organizers to cut the presentation short. Their rushed attempt to lift the prop only made things worse.

I had to go to the ER Halloween night and I am so happy I did, because I got to see a woman walk into the lobby in full zombie makeup with her husband - they had been working as scare actors at Fright Fest and the husband had gotten injured.

SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level. SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this. SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.
