Pathetically and gloriously, we humans compulsively scrounge around, trying desperately & anxiously to cobble together an identify for ourselves.

“I could shoot and kill someone in the middle of fifth Avenue and no one would care.” — #Trump.

Was he right?

Yes, I’ve always suspected.

If so, no one will give a fuck even if he did the unthinkably worst with #Epstein.

So, yes, “the truth will come out,” but it won’t matter.

That’s my guess.

What Christians in the US need to hear:

"The absolute antithesis of the gospel preached by Paul would be the language of border walls, inviolable boundaries, fixed cultural identities, proper places, and nativism."—DBH

A man who holds the title of President of the United States, who took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, who then says he doesn’t know if he’d uphold the Constitution, is unfit to be president and should be removed.

Webb captures NGC 346, the most massive young star cluster in the Small Magellanic Cloud, glowing with new life. Winds and radiation from massive stars sculpt dust clouds, triggering fresh star birth in this stunning 240-light-year-wide region.

For Russian Orthodox theologian Sergius Bulgakov, "there is room for common cause b/t socialists & Christians" (according to commentator Roberto de la Noval).

It's wild that Europe, the allies the United States joined hands with to stand up against Russia (then doing evil business as the "Soviet Union"), is now having to stand up against *the United States* for enabling Russia's war crimes.

I’ve heard it said that the New Testament mentions only one pagan god by name: “Mammon.”

But on this Easter Sunday, I believe that that is not the case, for Paul explicitly mentions Death/Thanatos (1 Cor 15:26), who has now been put to death.

"Peter Kreeft, who perceives much about life and death, aspires to teach us about virtues, both classical and theological. He does not aspire to teach us about values, praise be. As he puts it, ‘Values are like thoughts, like ghosts, undulating blobs of psychic energy.’

In his _Back to Virtue_, Peter Kreeft denigrates Romanticism by associating it with a "secularized heart" (analogous to his view of the Enlightenment as a "secularized head."

But I'd argue that a "secularized" heart is a contradiction in terms; there is no such thing.

Kreeft is wrong here.
