Don't have a hot water bottle so took the pizza stone out of the oven, wrapped it in a towel and tucked it behind me on the sofa. 10/10 would recommend.

Happened across a thread on NI reddit, broad, cross community consensus that Elon Musk is a gobshite. Lovely to see these bridges between communities.

This is one of those books which make you want to accost strangers on the street and drag them into a bookshop to buy it. It's so good, SO GOOD! If you have any interest in SF and LitSF do yourself a favour. I read it a matter of hours. #Bookgiving #Booksky

Everyone should be sharing this story about the Amnesty International report because yes many of us have long acknowledged that it’s a genocide but there are still people who need the validation of a report from an org like Amnesty to believe it’s true zeteo.com/p/amnesty-co...
Amnesty International Investigation Concludes Israel Is Committing Genocide

Underreported: Elon just picked the head of NASA—a massive conflict-of-interest that will damage a government entity that he partners with, depends on, and in some cases competes with. The nominated NASA director is a high-school dropout billionaire who is pals with Musk. He has no business at NASA.

A week from tomorrow I'm going in for fairly major surgery to correct several long-term consequences of bearing children.

I want to educate around these issues but also appreciate that everything about it involves some Gross or Unmentionable body part or function.

I plan to tag posts #POPsurgery.

This is the craziest fucking murder I have ever seen in my life. Evil CEO and insider trader being blackmailed by ransomware gangs. It's too much plot for one murder. That's a whole season of Law&Order Wall Street.
A friend just informed me that United Healthcare's been making large crypto payments to ransomeware gangs all year, gotta wonder if that's related to it's CEO getting assassinated
UnitedHealth says Change Healthcare cyberattack cost it $872 million
The $872 million most likely excludes any amount UnitedHealth may have paid to hackers in ransom.

I'll always maintain the Lycians were the most talented marble carvers in the ancient Mediterranean world. Example the tomb of Sidon in the Islamic Museum of Istanbul.
