I've got a lot of questions here and the first one is: what kind of rigging is this? I wouldn't put a bag of sugar in the air on this thing.
Part of the "rigging" used for Beyonce's flying car stunt. It's some sort of horizontal truss bar, with some mechanism on top that's rigged to several other points, presumably for the movement around an arena. There are two points at either end of the bar that go down toward the car, each branching to two points on either side of the car. The video in the OP makes it look like one of the chain motors either started to fail (unlikely?) or someone failed at controlling it correctly.
