My oldest has alpha-gal, and let me tell you, it sucks. No mammal meat, no gelatin, and it can even develop to the point that you can’t have dairy. Insect repellant is your friend if you live in tick-y areas.

Yall. Christian nationalism is all about disaster relief funds being managed by “local groups” like Samaritan’s Purse. They get to decide who is worthy of help, and they get loads of money, too.

It has been really freaking cold here the last few days, and whenever that happens I immediately get angry over the fact that the existence of homelessness is a policy choice that we have made.
