I think the real complaint that leftists (that I personally know) have is that these people will go right back to ignoring the American political system when a Dem is in power. Gaining ideological ground by inches only to lose most of those inches when The Blue Guys Rule is frustrating

Well. It's a bit more complicated than that. Leftist orgs support liberal protests in the same way you'd support an old person coming to the conclusion that Henry Kissenger was maybe a not so good guy. Every org I know supports them publicly and complains in private
