My husband wanted a nice outing at the Phillies game so we took my mom, step-dad, his mom, and our kids today.
I made friends with a fellow young woman and we ganged up on some huge white dude about how colonization shaped South America’s genetic lineage forever.
… so goal achieved I think.

The progress of my quilt. Quite certain I’m doing four of these half square triangle panels in various hues and then building out the quilt with black and white. End goal remains uncertain and ever-evolving.

It’s giving Witch of the Waste tbh
My kids are doing school from home today due to inclement weather and one of the classes is rhyming “-ug” words.
I just tuned back in for a second and one kid goes “No! I’m saying ‘F!’ like FUG! Like you’d go ‘FUG! FUG! FUG! FUG!!!!!!’ when you have to!”
Gave me a chuckle.

Made this chessboard for @designerplant.bsky.social a few years ago and we’ve yet to use it as more than an art piece. I’m hoping to have some time very soon to find our chess pieces and stretch the ol’ logic legs. He’s been talking a big game so we shall see.

I know nothing about music but what I'm seeing at the Grammy's this year is women supporting women, all genres supporting other genres, and everyone being happy for those who broke barriers. To me that is what art is all about!
