Throughout history technological developments have promised great wealth for all. However this has proved widely over optimistic. Farming, the industrial revolution, automation, the internet and now ai. Greater wealth has only been for those who control the means and systems. The rest get poorer

Someone needs a lesson in how our government works. The vote is for a CR, which is a Continuing Resolution, which is to keep funding exactly as before! Auto-continue would benefit the greedy bastards that are trying to spend all our money poorly.

We need laws that stop govnt shutdowns entirely.
If Congress can’t compromise, funding should auto-continue at prior levels. We must put an end to abusive leveraging tactics & the chaos.

Just imagine a government that didn't have SNAP programs in the first place. The private sector will have an equivalent service. I know this because before the government started these bailout programs there were private organizations that did the same. Let's do that again!

The ONLY way the government can help people is to TAKE from OTHER people! That's not helping! When private organizations get money through voluntary donations then there is no initiation of force!
